In Philadelphia, the United States, five-time world champions Brazil secured a comfortable 3-0 victory over Haiti in Group C, ending the Caribbean nation's hopes of reaching the knockout stage.
Matheus Cunha opened the scoring with a close-range finish after Vinicius Junior's effort was parried by the goalkeeper. The striker then doubled Brazil's advantage with a powerful strike from inside the penalty area.

Vinicius Junior added a third goal deep into first-half stoppage time to complete a dominant display by the South Americans.
The defeat leaves Haiti rooted to the bottom of Group C with no points from two matches and a goal difference of -4. Their final group game against Morocco on June 24 will now be played only for pride.
Brazil moved to the top of the group on goal difference, ahead of Morocco.
Meanwhile, in Group D, Türkiye also saw their World Cup campaign come to an end following a narrow 1-0 loss to Paraguay at the San Francisco Bay Area Stadium.
Matias Galarza scored the fastest goal of the 2026 tournament so far, finding the net just 64 seconds after kickoff to hand Paraguay a crucial victory.
Türkiye pushed for an equaliser and were handed a numerical advantage when Paraguay had a player sent off in stoppage time, but they were unable to break through.
The result leaves Türkiye with zero points from two matches, confirming their elimination with one group game remaining.
Paraguay, however, kept their slim hopes of reaching the knockout stage alive ahead of their final group fixture against Australia.
Despite their early exits, both nations marked significant milestones at the tournament. Haiti returned to the World Cup for the first time since 1974, while Türkiye's campaign ended prematurely despite arriving with high expectations.
