Leading fintech company, OPay, has officially opened a new office in Kaduna State as part of its ongoing efforts to expand access to secure, convenient and inclusive financial services across Nigeria.
The office was inaugurated on June 10, 2026, at an event attended by community and business leaders, local merchants and members of the company’s senior management team.
According to OPay, the new Kaduna office represents a significant step in its commitment to bringing financial services closer to customers, agents, merchants and businesses across the country. The company said the expansion would enhance its ability to provide localised support, strengthen community engagement and contribute to economic development in the state.
Over the years, OPay has emerged as one of Nigeria’s leading fintech platforms, providing millions of users with access to digital payments, money transfers, savings and other financial services through technology-driven solutions aimed at promoting financial inclusion.
The company noted that the Kaduna office would further support its mission of ensuring that individuals and businesses, regardless of their location, can fully participate in the growing digital economy.
Speaking at the launch, OPay’s Chief Operating and Technology Officer, Dotun Adekunle, described the opening as a reflection of the company’s long-term commitment to Kaduna and its residents.
“Today is more than the opening of a new office. It reflects our long-term commitment to Kaduna State and to the millions of Nigerians who trust OPay every day for their financial needs,” Adekunle said.
“Kaduna is a city of enterprise, innovation and opportunity, and we are proud to strengthen our presence here as we continue to make financial services more accessible to individuals, businesses and underserved communities.”
The new office is expected to enhance OPay’s operations in Northern Nigeria while supporting the company’s broader objective of expanding financial inclusion and digital payment adoption across the country.
