U.S. President Donald Trump has revealed the design of a special commemorative U.S. passport created to mark the nation's 250th anniversary.
Sharing the design on his Truth Social platform, Trump described the passport with the message: "Welcome, but be good!"
The sample design features an illustration of Trump seated behind the Resolute Desk, with the text of the Declaration of Independence in the background and his signature displayed beneath the image. An adjacent page showcases the historic painting The Declaration of Independence by John Trumbull.
According to earlier announcements, the commemorative passport includes updated artwork and enhanced graphics throughout its covers and interior pages. It is expected to be issued to eligible applicants renewing their passports in person through the Washington Passport Agency, while passport applications processed online or through other agencies are expected to continue using the standard design.
The White House shared the new design on its official social media account, though the U.S. State Department has not yet provided additional details regarding the final production version.
The commemorative passport is part of broader events celebrating 250 years since the founding of the United States.
