he Igbo have a saying: when madness enters the market, it has completely gone out of control.
In the past week, the Okoye brothers: Peter and Paul of the now-defunct P-Square, together with their shameless elder brother, Jude, have flooded social media with their dirty family tales.
There is no restraint. It is a free-for-all. Tell it all. Spill everything. The Ifite Dunu, Anambra State, brothers are setting a record for what must be the longest-running sibling feud in Nigeria. Somebody should present them with flowers—but they must be flowers of infamy.
To the Okoye brothers, shame on all of you.
Permit me to teach you how to quarrel properly. Go back to Ifite Dunu. Remove your clothes. March to Eke Market Square in your village. Dance naked so that whatever dignity still remains hidden beneath your clothes can finally be exposed. Then your people and the rest of us can truly confirm that your madness has indeed entered the market.
